CDN Data Storage Service – Centre de données de Nançay (CDN)

The Centre de Données de Nançay (CDN) is providing a digital data storage service to technical and research personels, as well as students, working with data collected with Observatoire Radioastronomique de Nançay (ORN) instruments and/or radioastronomy dataset to be processed together with data collected with ORN instruments.

The unit cost of the digital data storage service is 33 € / TB / year (as of November 2024).

The users must comply to the rules of the IT Charter of the Observatoire de Paris. Details on the service are provided in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Storage has to be requested directly to the CDN support team, including the following information:

Name of the project
Name of the contact person
Source of funding (CNRS, Observatoire de Paris, etc)
Amount of requested storage (in TB) and duration (in year)

The CDN team will send you a quote for the requested storage, and the necessary informations to proceed to payment.
